Summer 2010 Prayer Letter to Friends and Supporters,

We have had a good trip here to Minnesota. We taught at 4 home schools 8 times, Northwestern
College once, our home church, Meadow Creek, three times to SS and Children’s church, and
finally to 17 families that came to our Creation Science tour of the St Paul Science Museum.

At the museum we showed how giant dinosaurs fit into the Bible and how the Pterodactyl’s arm
and hand show God’s handiwork. God took the basic hand design that he uses for most
mammals and reptiles but customized it into a wing for this huge Pterodactyl. The arm and hand
made into a wing is 20 feet long. This is the largest flying creature found in the fossil record to
date. It has a 40 foot wingspan.

Russ brought a tracing on butcher paper of the wing he made from wood for the museum in
California. He would have the kids roll it out and hold it so they could see this incredible marvel
of God’s engineering.

Please pray for the museum opening. We are calling it the “Adventure Safaris Dinosaur Museum
and Exploratorium.” Russ has to paint or carpet the floor and then get the exhibits set up. Most
of them are in the building but need to be opened and arranged for viewing. We still need
several more glass display cases (Like in a jewelry store) Three have been donated so far. We can
make some from hollow core house doors and window frames if anyone knows of used ones
available or discounted ones and can help buy and/or assemble them.

Our goal is to portray how the dinosaurs and other fossils show God’s handiwork.

I am looking forward to getting home and hope I can get the museum running for the grand
opening in July. We will display the full sized model of the Pterodactyl (40 foot wingspan) as
well as the skull and various bones of the Duck billed dinosaur we have dug on for 6 years in
Lemmon SD. On display will be Russ’ ¾ inch to one foot scale model segment of Noah’s Ark.

Praise: We have had a good trip here, Tricia was fighting a bronchial infection but we were able
to get antibiotics and she is doing better. We have been encouraged by so many people who
donated to our ministry to cover the cost of a rental car (The man who loans us one could not, we
found out at the last minute). We also praise God for the home school students who want to
learn about God’s creation through our classes.

We had a wonderful weekend with our family after a beautiful wedding for Ryan and Bridget.
We were part of the wedding party. Tricia carried a bouquet and walked down the aisle with
Russ. This was Bridget’s idea to have both parents be part of the wedding party. Bridget is a
thoughtful young woman. We are grateful to have her in the family.

It was great to spend time together boating and reminiscing. Ryan and Bridget delayed their
honeymoon departure, so our family could be together longer. Kevin & Dierdre, Heather, Mark,
Cheyenne and Hunter, Ryan & Bridget, we all did various activities together through Monday,
Memorial Day.

Have a good week,
In Him, Russ & Tricia
