We need your help today! We want to locate past and present meeting attendees so that we can invite them to join us for a very special evening.  The Twin Cities Creation Science Association will be celebrating its 30th

 

anniversary on Tuesday, September 16, 2003, at 7:00 p.m.  We need your help to locate past members,

attendees, and speakers, especially those outside of the cities.   Since we do anticipate that some individuals will need to make travel plans, your timely help will be much appreciated.  See below for ways you can help us out.

First, the details –

TCCSA’s 30th Anniversary Celebration will be on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at 7:00 p.m.; this is ½ hour earlier than usual.  Social hour with refreshments begins at 6:30 p.m.

We will meet at Northwestern College, 3003 Snelling Avenue North in Roseville.  We will be in the Blue Room in Nazareth Hall, which is the building with the satellite dishes.  For those who haven’t been around for awhile, you can get directions to the College by calling (651) 631-5100.

Bill Overn, a long-time board member and creation pioneer, will give the keynote address.  He will be speaking on the topic, "What Has Happened In The Past 30 Years Of Creation Ministry?"  Additional program details will be announced later. There will also be a Creation Moments book table with lots of resources for sale, door prizes, and memorabilia from the past and more.  Everyone is cordially invited to join us.

There are several ways you can help –

· Send names and contact information of past attendees you know to Dave Johnson at the address on this newsletter, or e-mail david.johnson{at}netzero.net.  Dropping us a note is preferable, but if that is not possible you can leave a message on our voice mail, (612) 330-3881.  Please supply as much information as possible either way.  This will be used for a special mailing or personal contact from us; we will not add anyone to the mailing list.

· Share this invitation with any TCCSA “alumni” you may be in contact with and encourage them to come.  Or ask them to join you and offer them a ride.

· We would also like to display pictures from the past.  Let us know if you have some to display.  Pictures will be returned.

· In addition, if you have any special memories you would like to share, please send them in.  We will be displaying some of the written notes that past members and attendees have sent in.  A brief paragraph or so would be best.

· Volunteer to help out at the event.  We need people or families to serve refreshments, hang signs, help with set-up and tear down or possibly help out in other ways prior to the event.  Drop us a note or speak to one of the board members if you can help.
