Is there proof that the Bible is the Word of God? In the 1600s, Blaise Pascal, a pioneer of modern science, considered the Jewish people to be one of the greatest proofs for the God of the Bible. Why would he think this? The fact is that the remarkably unique and seemingly illogical nature of Israel’s history was predicted by Moses and the prophets – hundreds and sometimes thousands of years in advance. This included preservation through millennia of unnatural and intense persecution. Could this pattern of evidence even extend into events happening in our own time?
